One great thing about these giveaway sites - other than the fact that you can pick up lots of good stuff for free - is the variety. They tend to be a kind of smorgasboard of web tools, products and services. With so may different contributors, each with their own perspective about what's important - or what will work - on the web, the assortment of gifts tends to reflect that variety.

The other nice thing - did I mention you can get lots of good stuff free? - is that it's all on an "pick and choose" basis. How many times have you passed on a huge collection of stuff because you couldn't bring yourself to buy all that stuff at that price just to get the one or two items you want? Worse yet, how many times have you bitten the bullet and bought the whole package to get the one or two items you want?

Don't Get Burned Buying Gadgets

In the run up to Christmas, the rush to get the perfect gift, or the gift someone really wants, can lead to some bad decisions and wasted money. Not everyone can be an expert on every subject, and that is certainly true of high tech gadgets. It’s easy to end up with the wrong thing, or something much more expensive than needed, especially when you don’t know much about the product and you are relying entirely on a salesperson or sales literature. One way to minimize these risks is to be an educated shopper, and know at least the basics about the item you are shopping for.

About the Blog Swapper Network

The Blog Swapper Network actually grew up as a whole bunch of different unrelated sites, originating as several blogs operated by a group of local friends. Over time, more "confederates" were added through connections made online. A series of experiments in generating traffic to our websites ended with various members operating traffic exchanges, safelists, downlinebuilders ... all the tools web marketers use to build traffic, which are often not even considered by bloggers and content site operators, who tend to concentrate on search engine placement alone. Finally, one of our original group got the idea of combining all our various sites into a single network. So here we are. Feel free to browse around our site, located HERE. Hopefully you will find something useful, informative or entertaining. After all, that's why we put the site together.

Hey, at least we've got the blog set up. We'll get around to actually posting something interesting. Really. We promise.
